Wendy Agar

Principal / Podcast Host

Wendy is passionate about empowering people and facilitating change in rural Australia, and founded Engaged Outcomes in 2022 to amplify this work.  Working  primarily within the Community, Agriculture and Renewable Energy sectors she is on a mission to change the way engagement is done in regional Australia and delivers training, engagement and facilitation for groups of all sizes and both virtually, and in the real world!

Prior to founding Engaged Outcomes Wendy has had a wonderfully eclectic career including 10 years as a partner in a cattle and sheep enterprise in Western Qld and 30 years working in leadership roles across several sectors in remote, rural and regional Qld. In addition to this experience, she has qualifications in education, business and HR and accreditations in stakeholder engagement, change management and behaviour profiling.  While she now lives in Brisbane, she still works almost entirely ‘out of town’ because that is where her heart lies!

What are people saying about us?

“Wendy is an experienced and skilled human centred facilitator.  Her warm, friendly, and engaging style allows her to create a positive and productive environment and navigate emotions effectively while still addressing the real issues. She is a pleasure to work with, particularly in intense stakeholder environments that require high emotional intelligence.”

Wendy is an experienced facilitator with a strong understanding of regional communities. Having worked across multiple sectors from agriculture, health and small business through to education, finance and banking, Wendy is able to take a wholistic view when leading groups to address issues that are critical to their particular industry or to their community more broadly.”

Jo Sheppard

Wendy is an excellent facilitator who can engage her audience and support conversation across a broad range of topics. Over the last 12 years I have engaged her to support with coaching, leadership, engagement, strategy and facilitation.  She takes the time to understand the context and the audience and prepares accordingly.”
